Concepts and Terminology

  • Embed: a Unito user interface embedded inside a parent application.
  • Embedding App: the application that presents an embed to its users.
  • Tool: any software that can be synchronized by Unito.
  • Flow: links together two sets of work items between your tools, and defines how they should sync via rules and field mappings.
  • User: a user account accessing the embedding app and the embed. Unito will create and manage its own users automatically to match those of the embedding app.
  • Workspace: a space to house the flows of multiple users. Usually matches an account or organization in the embedding app.
